March 16, 2025 – The Inner Wheel Club of Yaba, under the leadership of President IWM Kehinde Olanrewaju, welcomed District Chairman Princess Adenike Sodipo and her executive team for a meaningful day of community outreach and fellowship.
The special gathering took place at No. 4a Wura Esan Street, Weara Estate, Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja, Lagos, where club members demonstrated their unwavering commitment to serving the community through three impactful projects.
The club continued its ongoing support for a male patient suffering from rickets, making a generous cash donation toward his upcoming second surgery and medical expenses. This demonstrates the club’s dedication to healthcare accessibility and supporting those in medical need within the community.
In a tribute to the club’s rich history, members donated essential educational books to the National Primary School Library at Abule-Oja. This library holds special significance as it was originally constructed by the Inner Wheel Club of Yaba during the 1989-1990 tenure under Past President Bola Nedd, showcasing the club’s long-standing commitment to education.
The club extended financial support to two local widows through cash donations aimed at strengthening their businesses. This empowerment initiative reflects the organization’s focus on economic independence and supporting vulnerable members of the community.
The successful execution of these three diverse projects during the District Chairman’s visit exemplifies the Inner Wheel Club of Yaba’s multifaceted approach to community service, spanning healthcare, education, and economic empowerment.
