In another expression of service in action, the Inner Wheel Club of Garki (District 910) implemented “Orange the World” Campaign Against Gender-Based Violence, an initiative designed to create meaningful and lasting impact. The project focused on addressing identified community needs through intentional action and direct engagement. As part of the International Inner Wheel 16 Days “Orange the World” Campaign, the Inner Wheel Club of Garki visited the Junior and Senior Government Secondary Schools, Aleyita (along Airport Road), Abuja. A guest speaker educated the students on gender-based violence, engaging them in an interactive session to raise awareness and deepen understanding. The club also distributed sanitary pads, exercise books, and mathematical sets to support the students’ well-being and academic Development Beyond immediate outcomes, the initiative reflects Inner Wheel’s continued commitment to friendship, service and understanding.
