As part of activities marking the global 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Orange the World campaign, the Inner Wheel Club of Gbagada Ifako was at Floral Schools, Iju, on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, to sensitise the students on being more proactive and join in efforts to end all forms of violence against women and children, especially the girl-child.
With the theme ‘GBV: Not a Private Matter,’ the students were sensitised on how to spot signs of GBV among their peers, in their neighbourhood, and to speak out when they are identified
The students also had the opportunity to ask questions bothering them, many of which were answered by guest speaker Mrs Funmi Falobi, Social Development Advocate and Lecturer, Mass Communication Department, Caleb University, and members of the club.
