he Inner Wheel Club of Ado Roses, in partnership with the Inclusive Initiative (IPADEV) and the New Generation Girls and Women Development Initiative (NIGAWD), organized an event to mark the 2025 global “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence.” The program focused on the theme “UNiTE to End Digital Violence Against All Women & Girls.”
As part of the commemoration, the organizations started with a walk and hosted an Orange the World Side Chat and Press Conference aimed at raising awareness on the growing issue of digital violence and advocating for safer online spaces for women and girls. The event took place on Tuesday, 25th November 2025, at Eleventh House Hotel and Apartments, Iworoko Road, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, starting at 8:00 AM.
Through collaborative advocacy and public engagement, the organizers emphasized the need for collective action to combat both digital and physical forms of violence. The event reinforced the message: “Together, We Raise Our Voices. Together, We Create a Safer Digital & Physical World.”
