It was a heartwarming and fulfilling event when members of D912 led by DC Abiola Aberuagba, supported by IPNR Zainab Ikheloa, partnered with the Rotary Action group for Family Health & AIDS Prevention, Bariga LCDA, Hon. Apata Samuel Olu (Rep. Somolu 02 Constituency) and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, to deliver General Medical Services to the residents in the Bariga local community of Lagos State, on 5th November, 2024.
Over 100 residents of the community were given Free Health Screening, Medication for Treatments and Referrals as the case may be on various health concerns including, Malaria, BP, Fasting Blood Sugar, Dental, and Eyesight tests with eyeglasses.
Treated Mosquito Nets and Sanitary pads with Refreshments were also given to those present. Beneficiaries of this outreach extended their gratitude and gave kudos to the Rotary family for the noble gesture.
