The project focused on addressing identified community needs through intentional action and direct engagement. In celebration of the 2026 International Women’s Day, with the theme “Give to Gain” the Inner Wheel Club of Garki on Tuesday , 31st March 2026, marked the occasion by an outreach program to Lugbe primary Health Centre Lugbe during the children’s immunisation programme of the health centre. The club presented gift items like pampers, baby wipes and baby powder to the mothers and their children as a show of love, hope, and support, reflecting the true spirit of compassion and service of Inner Wheel. During the outreach, the District Chairman IWM Felicia Agbonhese gave a talk to the women on the ideals of International Inner Wheel and the essence of the International Women’s Day with the theme ‘Give to Gain’. She also gave a pep talk to the mothers to take adequate care of their children as they are the future and leaders of tomorrow. The President IWM Yemi Ajao also supported the DC in giving the women words of encouragement to support their local community as much as possible not necessarily through financial support but through moral support and encouragement The women showed their appreciation by thanking the club members for their generosity and compassion. Happy International Women’s Day. Beyond immediate outcomes, the initiative reflects Inner Wheel’s continued commitment to friendship, service and understanding.
