The President, IWM Favour Bamiduro and members of lnner Wheel Club of Gbagada-Ifako joined the international communities to celebrate the International Day of the “Girl Child” and “Hand Washing Day” on Friday, 11th of October 2024 @ Meiran Community Senior High School, Meiran, Lagos.
The event was marked with a Lecture on “Dignity of the Girl Child and Self-Protection” The lecture was delivered by CP Omolara Adedugbe.
The second lecture was delivered by the District Secretary, IWM Folawe Apanisile which focused on the importance of Hand Hygiene with a practical demonstration to show the students the importance of hand washing to individual health.
The highlight of the day was the presentation of various useful personal items to the girls as well as other sanitary items to the school.
