Inner Wheel Club of Lagos West, led by President IWM Amudallat Modupe Shobowale, marked International Women’s Day with a meaningful gesture of support at the Vocational Center, Amuwo Odofin.
The club provided Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (₦250,500) in cash donation to Mrs. Kafayat Olowu, widow of the club’s recently deceased photographer. Beyond this immediate support, the club adopted the family’s youngest child, ensuring his school fees will be paid promptly.
The bereaved family expressed overwhelming gratitude, offering heartfelt prayers for the Inner Wheel Club of Lagos West and wishing that “Inner Wheel shall never die.”
This International Women’s Day project demonstrated the club’s commitment to caring for their extended family, embodying the true spirit of sisterhood and community support.
