On 19th August 2025, the Inner Wheel Club of Lagos took a powerful step toward shaping the future, hosting its much-anticipated Flagship Project of the 2025/2026 Inner Wheel year “the Scholarship Presentation Event” at the Transit Children Home, Idi-Araba.
The event was warmly convened by the President of the Inner Wheel Club of Lagos, IWM Olajumoke Malomo, alongside the club’s esteemed members, who welcomed guests with the grace and warmth that defines Inner Wheel sisterhood.
The occasion was made even more special by the presence of valued project partners, Persianas Retail Ltd (PRL) and the DivaMo Stars Foundation, whose collaboration and shared commitment to youth empowerment helped bring this vision to life.
The event held deep significance, commemorating both International Youth Day (12th August 2025) and International Humanitarian Day, a fitting backdrop for a project dedicated to transforming young lives through the power of education.
At its heart, the Scholarship Presentation Event was a celebration of hard work, resilience, potential, and achievement. Each scholarship presented was more than financial support; it was a declaration that these young individuals are seen, valued, and believed in.
This initiative stands as a reflection of the Inner Wheel Club of Lagos’ commitment to empowering young minds and opening doors to brighter, more limitless futures.
