The Inner Wheel Club of Akute, District 912 Nigeria kicked off the 2025/2026 Inner Wheel year with a project that embodied the very essence of the theme — Step Up and Lead by Example.
On 6th August 2025, the club launched its first project of the year with a courtesy visit to the Baale of Arifanla Akute, Chief Ademiluyi, who was warmly represented by his wife, Mrs. Ademiluyi. The delegation was led by the President of the Inner Wheel Club of Akute, IWM Ruth Keazor, alongside the Charter President, IWM Charlotte Solano, executives, and members of the club, a united front of women stepping up with purpose.
The team then proceeded to the Arifanla Health Centre, Akute, where they were warmly received by the Matron-In-Charge, Mrs. Dosu, and her dedicated healthcare team.

This was followed by a medical outreach for women and residents of the Arifanla community, bringing healthcare closer to those who need it most.
The impact was felt immediately. The Baale, the health centre team, and the women who received care were overwhelmed with gratitude, offering heartfelt prayers for the club and Inner Wheel at large.
When women lead with compassion, whole communities are transformed.
