District 910 (District 910) implemented EMPOWERMENT AT DC 910’S INSTALLATION, an initiative designed to create meaningful and lasting impact. The project focused on addressing identified community needs through intentional action and direct engagement. At the DC’s installation, 14 women were empowered, including widows who had completed their skill training but lacked the resources to start their trades. They were supported with the necessary tools to become self-reliant. In addition, 6 women engaged in farming received agricultural support, including equipment, fertilisers, pesticides, and seedlings to enhance productivity on their farms. The guest speaker was,our own Africa Pride, IIWPP Oluyemisi Alatise. Beyond immediate outcomes, the initiative reflects Inner Wheel’s continued commitment to friendship, service and understanding.
