The Heartbeat of Humanity President, lWM Olajumoke Malomo and members of lnner Wheel Club of Lagos executed a Multimillion Naira Project as well as hosting of the DC Adenike Sodipo on Thursday, 28th of November, 2024 @ the Lagos University Teaching Hospital & the Children Transit Home both at Idi-Araba, Lagos.
The day started with a visit to LUTH where the President, DC & her Executives,NR, PIIWP and members of lnner Wheel Club of Lagos were received by the Hospital Management team.
The first project of the day was the robust donation made at Neonatal ward where the newborn babies of the day were given essentials such as, Baby wipes, baby soap, and several other toiletries.
The trail moved down to the Children Centre popularly known as the Transit Home in Idi-Araba where the DC & her Executives were received with pomp & pageantry.
The highlight of the day was the commissioning of the Renovated Transit Home building, where the club spent millions of Naira, by painting of the two buildings in the compound as well as improving all the facilities therein. At the same time, essential supplies, such as beddings, bedspreads, Mackintosh and toiletries were donated to make life more comfortable for the children.
These donations was also extended to the Cheshire Home in Mushin who were also on ground to pick their gift items including Toiletries, Mats and other sanitary items which were cheerfully distributed to these Homes in other to make the coming yelutide memorable for them.
The icing on the cake of the event was the “Wall of Kindness project” executed where people living within and outside the Transit Home Center @ Idi-Araba were blessed with foodstuffs such as Garri, Rice, Beans, Condiments, Beverages as well as school essentials for the local children.
The event atmosphere was awesome where local residents of Idi-Araba trooped in hundreds to take Free Food to their respective Homes. Indeed Christmas is made for them.
