INTERNATIONAL HUMANITARIAN DAY

The project focused on addressing identified community needs through intentional action and direct engagement. To mark World Humanitarian Day, the District Chairman, Felicia Agbonhese along with some executives of District 910, Tola Adeseun, Bola Onigbogi our PBD Grace Adekoya, PNT, Victoria Adebayo, PDC, Nike Bamisaye and some members from the Wuse and Life Camp, clubs, joined the District Chairman to put a smile on the face of Mrs Jemimah to celebrate the day. The District presented a sewing machine to a truly inspiring widow and a mother of four. This remarkable woman had sold everything she owned to care for her ailing husband. Sadly, he passed away, leaving her devastated. But her story took a turn to return back to what she knows her to do before with the help of District 910 Inner Wheel Nigeria, whose mission is to uplift those in need. Through the compassion and service of this gesture, her tears were turned into hope and renewed joy. This act reminds us that, together, we can bring light to even the darkest moments and truly make the world a better place. One act of kindness at a time. Beyond immediate outcomes, the initiative reflects Inner Wheel’s continued commitment to friendship, service and understanding.
