In another expression of service in action, the Inner Wheel Club of Garki (District 910) implemented International Friendship Day Celebration, an initiative designed to create meaningful and lasting impact. The project focused on addressing identified community needs through intentional action and direct engagement. To mark International Friendship Day, the Inner Wheel Club of Garki hosted an online meeting dedicated to celebrating one another and strengthening the bonds among members. The event featured an engaging Question-and-Answer session focused on Inner Wheel history, structure, and current initiatives. Correct answers were rewarded with prizes, making the session both fun and educational. Members were also randomly paired through a ballot-style selection, during which each participant shared how the person they picked had positively impacted their life. This heartfelt exchange created a warm atmosphere of appreciation, love, and unity, strongly reflecting one of the core objectives of Inner Wheel which is the promotion of true friendship. ₦10,000 recharge cards were shared among the winners Beyond immediate outcomes, the initiative reflects Inner Wheel’s continued commitment to friendship, service and understanding.
