On Sunday, 20th July 2025, the Inner Wheel Club of Surulere, alongside the Step Up and Lead by Example executives, officially launched their first club project of the 2025/2026 Inner Wheel year, and they did so in the most meaningful way possible.
True to cherished tradition, the club embarked on heartfelt visits to their patron and elders, honoring the roots from which the club has grown.
The first visit took the club to the residence of the late Mrs. Titi Falomo, the club’s beloved Charter President, where they spent quality time with her husband, Chief Sir Olu Falomo, a distinguished Rotarian and steadfast supporter of the Inner Wheel Club of Surulere. It was a moment of remembrance, gratitude, and connection.
The club also paid a warm visit to Mrs. Ade Kuku, a proud charter member, celebrating her legacy and continued place in the heart of the club.
Both visits were steeped in prayer for the continued health, strength, and longevity of those who laid the foundation upon which the club stands today. These moments beautifully embodied the ideal of personal service, a core objective of Inner Wheel.
As the year begins, the Inner Wheel Club of Surulere has set a powerful tone — one of humility, gratitude, and purposeful leadership.
