On the 7th of August 2025, the Inner Wheel Club of Okota stepped up in a meaningful way to mark World Breastfeeding Day, bringing warmth, care, and support to new mothers at the General Hospital, Mushin.
In the spirit of this year’s theme, Step Up and Lead by Example, the club distributed over 200 breast pads to nursing mothers at the hospital’s postnatal section, marking the club’s first project of the 2025/2026 Inner Wheel year.
The visit was graced by our very own Supermama Joe Ebo, alongside dedicated Inner Wheel sisters who showed up with love and purpose. The hospital management and staff of the postnatal unit received the donation with great joy, expressing heartfelt appreciation for the club’s thoughtfulness and commitment to maternal health.
It was a beautiful reminder that when women support women, lives are touched and communities are strengthened.
