In the spirit of International Friendship Day, District 910 had the pleasure of hosting one of our cherished Inner Wheel sisters from Côte d’Ivoire — IWM Sylvie of District 909. This heartwarming visit was made possible through the gracious coordination of our International Inner Wheel Programme President (IIWPP), Alatise Oluyemisi.
The fellowship began at SummerSets Hotel, where we welcomed IWM Sylvie, before continuing with a relaxing and joyful outing at Farmcity Eatery. Over good food and warm conversation, our sisters exchanged ideas about Inner Wheel, learned from one another, and deepened the bonds of sisterhood that transcend borders.
IWM Sylvie expressed great delight at the fellowship and indicated her intention to share the experience for publication — a testament to how meaningful the visit truly was.
The event was lively and deeply heartwarming. Our sisters came together in abundance, with plenty to eat and even more to celebrate, as this gathering was marked as the first official District outing of the Inner Wheel year — a milestone worth cherishing.
As we reflect on this beautiful exchange, we look forward to many more fellowships and shared moments in the year ahead.
