District 910 Empowers Women Through Support Initiative

Inner Wheel District 910 demonstrated its commitment to women’s economic empowerment through a targeted project executed on July 20th, 2024, providing essential tools and resources to support sustainable livelihoods.

The empowerment initiative benefited 14 women across various vocations, delivering practical support tailored to their specific needs. Seven aspiring tailors and seamstresses received sewing machines—vital equipment that enables them to establish or expand their tailoring businesses and generate income.

One beneficiary in the beauty services sector received a professional hair dryer, equipping her with essential tools to enhance her salon services and grow her clientele.

Recognizing the importance of the food vending sector, the district provided various food items to six food vendors, helping them maintain inventory and strengthen their small businesses.

This initiative reflects Inner Wheel’s dedication to creating pathways for women’s economic independence and self-sufficiency. By providing tangible resources rather than temporary relief, District 910 invested in long-term solutions that enable women to build sustainable businesses, support their families, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

The empowerment project embodies the transformative power of Inner Wheel’s service—changing lives one woman, one skill, one opportunity at a time.
