On Friday 10th January, 2025 Heartbeat of Humanity sisters of Inner Wheel Club of Lifecamp in the spirit of celebration, marked the day glamorously by undertaking Two (2,) impactful projects:
1. Literacy and Education Initiatives:
The Club Donated 22 (Twenty +two ) chairs and desks as well as 2 white writing boards to Not forgotten Initiative School (a Free Education institution for the poor and vulnerable in Asokoro and its environs in Abuja .
The owner of the school Mrs . Adeniyi, , teachers and students,m were overwhelmed and . emotional . Prayers were said for Inner Wheel members individually and collectively for putting smiles on the faces of the young ones and for giving them hope of a great future.
It was indeed rewarding as members spent a great time with the children.
Impact:
This project empowered the students with the tools they need to succeed in their education and beyond while fostering a more informed and engaged citizenry.
2. Healthcare and Wellness / “Charity Begins at home” Project
The Club donated the sum of N500,000;00 ( Five Hundred Thousand Naira only to one of our members whose daughter has been sick and hospitalised for over 3 months.
Impact:
The impact of this project is to recognise the need to promote true friendship . Indeed charity begins at home .
Inner Wheel’s dedication to service to humanity and friendship makes a real difference in the lives of people around our community.
